Hyperliquid's HIP-4 upgrade redefines crypto prediction markets by removing reliance on external oracles. Validators now govern market deployment and settlement through on-chain voting, assessing clarity and quality of market rules.

The shift positions Hyperliquid to challenge sector leaders Polymarket and Kalshi. "We've just removed the need for external oracles," declared developer Yaigourth, framing the validator set itself as the new oracle mechanism.
